Visa Requirements for Azerbaijan:

For business, employment, cultural, sports, education, humanitarian, and private visit visas, you will need the following:

  • An invitation letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (valid for one month).
  • Application form (available, answers are to be printed or handwritten in block letters).
  • Passport or other travel document (validity should exceed the expected visa validity by at least 3 months) and copies of their main pages.
  • Two passport-sized color photographs (3x4cm, white background) matching biometric identification requirements.
  • HIV test certificate.
  • A copy of your travel ticket.
  • A copy of your medical insurance certificate (if a host does not undertake to pay for medical services).
  • Document (receipt) certifying payment of a state duty for visa issuance (state duty for visa issuance is not reimbursed regardless of the result of processing).
  • Application submitted by a party inviting a foreigner and a stateless person to the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is approved by an appropriate authority of the executive power.
  • A document proving the purpose of an invitation.
  • A registered copy of a certificate (for non-governmental organizations).
  • A notarized copy of a birth certificate, a permission of parents or a legitimate representative, and copies of identification documents are required for the issuance of a visa to foreigners and stateless persons under 18 who hold a passport and are traveling without their parent or a legitimate representative.
  • If you apply through a tourist agency, an applicant’s notary attested authorization letter is required.
  • If you apply for a tourist visa, a Tourist Voucher from the receiving travel agency in Azerbaijan is required.

Processing Time: The total approximate time required to get an Azerbaijan visa is 10-20 days, plus an additional 7 working days for the passport to and fro.

Visa Fees for Passport Holders from Bangladesh:

  • USD 50 for single entry up to 90 days.
  • USD 350 for multiple entry visa up to 180 days.
